Hilti CEMS Case Study Day

There was a very nice happening organized at the premises of Hilti Czech in April 2003. Around 20 CEMS students were invited to take part in the first Hilti CEMS Case Study Day 2003. Hilti, CEMS corporate partner, put emphasis on cooperation with Universities. The General Manager, Mr. Zeidler says: „There is so much that the students can learn about real business, however Hilti also learns unpredictably a lot from pure, sometimes crazy ideas of students“.

Hilti, CEMS corporate partner, put emphasis on cooperation with Universities. The General Manager, Mr. Zeidler says: „There is so much that the students can learn about real business, however Hilti also learns unpredictably a lot from pure, sometimes crazy ideas of students“. That’s why Hilti confronted the students with one of the real problems they face nowadays. It is actually a very difficult decision about changes in sales channel mix. But, the problem as such is not that relevant. It is the chance, that students meet representatives of real business. It is the possibility for students to benchmark themselves in competitive environment. It is the possibility to do networking, opening them ways for future cooperation.

Hilti has many times proven, that they are serious about their cooperation with Universities. They have employed two CEMS students recently, have sent students to do their CEMS internships in one of 120 Hilti abroad organizations, have helped students with their thesis and organized several CEMS business projects. We can only recommend other companies to support the University to bring praxis and theory together.
