Agenda of AGM consisted of so called Plennary Sessions including for example decisions about the budget, leadership of ESN for the next year and amendments of code of rules. ESN is a student organization, therefore, essential part of AGM were parties, city tour and other from evening to early morning activities.

The baby giraffe was named Erasmina and the ZOO received CZK 12 500 in donation. Significant part of the total amount was collected at the Nation2Nation parties where students of VŠE had a chance to contribute to a special giraffe box. „Erasmina will work as a link between students and as a gesture of gratitude we wanted to make the start of her giraffe-life easier,“ explains Martina Chládová, the main „giraffe“ coordinator and member of Buddy System. Along with the christening, there was a stand providing information about Erasmus program and the whole afternoon was accompanied by band Zlatý Voči.

Up-coming events

Members of Buddy System are preparing other events for international students, their Czech buddies and some of them for wider public. In the near future, they can join Moravian Trip, Dresden Trip and Erasmus Days.

Moravian Trip (weekend April 21st – 22nd)
Registration for the Moravian Trip is open to international students and their Czech buddies only. They will visit the Punkva caves, wine cellar (endless amount of wine) and Lednice castle.

Dresden Trip (weekend April 21st – 22nd)
Buddy System and German International Student Club in Dresden prepared a trip to one of the nicest cities in Germany for international students. They will visit Dresden, an old historical city on the river Elbe. Erasmus Days (Monday – Tuesday, April 23rd – 24th)
As in previous semesters, Buddy System prepares a two day workshop for Czech students who are interested in studying abroad. During these days international students studying at VŠE will present their home universities from the student point of view. Presentations will be held in Rajská budova (Paradise Building), classroom No. RB 109. Komentář: Kreditové poukázky jako brzda potenciálu. Proč studenti VŠE raději obětují jazyky i Erasmus?
